YIN YOGA FOR AUTUMN

Join Fion for an extended Yin practice to enliven your body, heart and mind. When the light and dark make up equal parts of the day, marks the beginning of the harvesting phase of the year. The weather gets cooler, we begin to draw our energy inward, lending us time to pause and reflect.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Autumn correlates to the lung and large intestine organ systems, which govern the respiratory and elimination function of the body. It can be a time associated with transformation, sadness and grief.
In this extended Yin practice, Fion will hold space and guide you through this Autumn sequence to harmonize your system by slowing down, giving room for reflection, and creating a state of ease with our relationship to change.
Please wear layers and warm clothes, bring a cushion / pillow / bolster and a blanket for this practice.
