YOGA FOR INVERSION ii

Extended Class with Fion Prendergast

10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Join us for an extended inversion fun where we will practice drills and explore these postures safely.  Whether you’re new to finding flight or have experience of getting upside down, there is something for everyone.  Fion will help you to understand the mechanics of these postures and how they work in relation to your body.  Come to learn the foundations, how to overcome the fear of falling, refine your practice and work towards progressions.

Half Headstand (Salamba Sirsasana) and Headstand

Half Tripod Headstand (Mukta hasta sirsasana) and Headstand

Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) depending on time

Learn the fundamentals of these poses and how to safely use props / the wall to support your inversion journey.  Try different ways of entering and different leg variations.
