YOGA SHRED

Yoga Shred is a cross-training combination of yoga and HIIT (high intensity interval training). You'll experience a full body, cardio workout that takes yoga principles as a starting point. Yoga Shred will safely improve core strength through flowing sequences and will burn fat through high intensity cardio exercises - the perfect combo!

What should I expect?

This fun, energetic class combines more traditional yoga poses and flows with injections of HIIT (High intensity Interval Training) to raise the metabolism, strengthen and tone the muscles! The class typically starts with a gentle warm up and breathing exercise, continuing with yoga flows and 3 or 4 HIIT sequences using Tabata timing (20 seconds exercise, 10 seconds active rest, for 8 rounds) then ending the session with a calming relaxation.

Who is it for?

Yoga Shred is suitable for all fitness levels and no previous yoga experience is required. All the 'shreds' can be modified for different levels and can always be practiced at your own pace. A fun fusion of yoga and cardio, with a few laughs along the way!

What’s on the playlist?

Just like the class itself, the playlist is an eclectic mix, with a range of chilled yoga vibes as well as high energy tunes from past and present!
