winter yang yin yoga

Namaste!

Please join me for a two-hour Yang Yin yoga practice to calm, balance and energize your body and mind. Long dark days of Winter is the season to slow down, reflect and spend more time in your inner world. However, hibernation and quiet reflection can cause physical stagnation, fatigue, and a sluggish immune system. Water is the primary element of Winter according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) based on the Five-element theory.

We’ll explore the qualities of water elements to stimulate the flow of Chi (energy), restore balance, vibrancy, and vitality in the body. This workshop will incorporate dynamic and fluid Vinyasa flow movements with static and passive long hold Yin postures, breath work, meditation, and relaxation to restore and revitalize your system.

All levels are welcomed.
