BEGINNER PILATES
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core stability. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.
This class is supported with a grant from the Healthy You Initiative.
New clients can access the class at a subsidised rate of £6 per session.
What should I expect?
Perfect for beginners, anyone new to fitness and those who wish to rebuild their physical fitness following illness or injury. This class is also suitable for pre and post-natal fitness.
Who is it for?
Pilates can also be a great partner for other active pursuits and sporting hobbies. This class will introduce you to foundational practices with lots of advice and guidance to set up the exercises for your body. You'll feel stronger and more confident in your movement, which will translate into your lifestyle and any other active pursuits you decide to take on.
How can I join?
Simply head over to our booking page to reserve your space. This is a reduced price class offered as part of our community initiative. If you have a family member, friend or neighbor that you think may benefit please get in touch so we can get them signed up.
